Where We’re Going
Our purpose is to help accelerate the shift to a plant-based diet for humankind. We’re constantly developing new, animal-free alternatives for the existing favourite products that people know & love. It all started with coconut yoghurt, and now we’ve extended into kefir yoghurt smoothies, condiments (vegan mayo & aioli), and we’ve got more delicious new ranges set to launch in 2022.
The demand for these products isn’t limited to New Zealand – we’re also supplying Singapore, China, Hong Kong, the United Arab Emirates, and the Pacific Islands. It’s going to take a world-wide shift to solve the climate crisis and the choices we make about what we eat is a huge part of that solution.

Flexible & Uplifting Culture
We know that people have a life outside of work, and we’re happy to be flexible where we can to make it easier for our team to do the things they love. Whether that’s leaving early for after school pick-ups, working 4 days weeks to make long weekend surf trips possible, or doing some ‘work from home’ days to spend more time with pets and family, we are open to discussing options and finding solutions that work. We organise regular monthly team events to spend time together and connect on a human level, not just as our ‘professional’ selves, and we have an annual team retreat.

Our factory is only a 5 minute drive from Raglan township – you’re close to nature, surfbreaks, great cafes, yoga classes, and so many other things that make this an incredible place to live! We don’t currently operate on the weekends and we close for Christmas break each year. Enjoy a short drive to work, no traffic, and beach walks after finishing up for the day.
Our Pay Philosophy
Our philosophy around pay at RFC is to reduce inequality, keep things fair, and be creative in how we reward long term staff for their loyalty and hard work. We have a profit share program which has been created to enable employees to share in the success of the company, and to recognise the value of the people who are here for the long term. Our Wage Cap policy means that no paid employee in our organisation can receive more than five times (5x) the wages an entry-level worker receives.
Mental & Physical Wellbeing
We want to improve and accelerate our team’s quality of life. It is important to us that each person in our team is healthy and balanced. We have a health fund to assist our team with urgent care or therapy outside the public health network – such as a naturopath or counsellor. We also encourage and support our team members to experience a Vipassana meditation retreat – 10 days of silence, surrounded by nature, with vegetarian meals provided.

RFC Trainee Program
Immerse yourself in Raglan Food Co’s culture and develop a holistic understanding of the company’s operations. A unique experience of 6 months with the possibility to stay permanently at the end, where you can develop yourself through a variety of exciting projects, a rewarding work environment and a fun supportive team to work with!
