How to Make a Coconut Bird Feeder

We recently made a Coconut Bird Feeder for our garden at Raglan Coconut Yoghurt HQ. It’s amazing how much the birds love it! Here’s how you can make one yourself.Method:Start with a whole coconut from your local store. Drain the liquid by punching a hole in two of the three dark “eyes” at the top of the coconut. A screwdriver, drill, metal skewer or corkscrew works for this. These holes will later be used to thread twine through, to suspend the feeder.Using a pencil, sketch out the area you’re going to be cutting.
